Artists from across Leicestershire have joined together to support a local charity raise funds through an auction of their art.
The sale, which will take place at the Abbots Oak Manor hotel near Markfield, is being organized by Soft Touch Arts to raise funds for its ST-art project.
ST-art works with 60 young people a year, with various difficulties and serious life challenges holding them back.

The charity hopes the event will raise £10,000.

Christina Wigmore, director at Soft Touch Arts, based in New Walk in Leicester, said: “I’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity and interest of local artists who have given their work for free to help support young people to develop their creative skills and talents.
“It’s going to be great experience for some of the young people at Soft Touch too, as their work will be in the auction alongside the other artists.
“We really hope people will support the event to raise funds to keep our vital work going”.
