An entrepreneur with roots in Leicestershire will try to impress business mogul Alan Sugar on The Apprentice.
Elizabeth McKenna attended Brooksby College in Melton Mowbray and launched her first business in the county.

The 39-year-old now runs two florists in Nottingham but her maiden venture was Busy Lizzies which was based in Charnwood Road, Shepshed.
On her business’s website it states: “My first business was called Busy Lizzies, which I set up in Shepshed, Leicestershire when I was 19, supported by the Prince’s Trust.
“I trained at Brooksby College, Leicestershire, qualifying in 1997.
“Since then I have worked as a florist in all manner areas floral, trained and worked as a floristry lecturer and as an apprenticeship trainer, and yes, we have an apprentice.”

She will now join 17 other contestants aiming to win a £250,000 investment and the chance to have Lord Sugar as a business partner.
Speaking to the Leicester Mercury in 1998 Elizabeth revealed how being her own boss was always her target.
She said: “A business for myself was always my goal.
“Working for myself I have a lot of freedom and can work in a way which I see fit, and in a way that best suits my customers’ needs.”
In 1997 she bought Flowers By Susan and has been working at two premises in Nottingham.
Her business got its title due to her middle name being Susan.

Despite describing herself as “from Nottingham”, Elizabeth was born in Australia and her mother comes from Leicestershire.
In a Twitter post she said: “Super excited [about being on the show]. As much a Loughborough girl as Nottingham.”
Her website added: “You may recognise me from the BBC Apprentice 2017, I am a candidate this year, I am the potty mad florist from Nottingham. I have big feet, I get them stuck in my mouth every day. But I do try!!
“I have been working away in my flower stores in West Bridgford, Nottingham and Southwell, Nottinghamshire since I bought Flowers by Susan in 1997.
“I lead a team of highly skilled florists. Flowers by Susan is a team effort.
“I was born in Australia, I still have my Australian passport, and have lived in the UK since 1991. My mum is from Leicestershire and she was a £10 pom.”

She also gave a brief description of life in her store and admitted she is “a bit bonkers”.
“Life in the flower shop can get a little potty, I am a bit bonkers, but that’s the fun of it. There is always something happening.”
The Apprentice starts on Wednesday, October 4 on BBC One at 9pm.
